Election Day

“...in order to form a more perfect union...”

On Election Day 2020, I was thinking a lot about the concept of unity—wondering if we, the people, are really as far apart as it feels. There was a lot of talk of civil war and unrest and I sincerely hoped that those things didn’t come to pass. 

At the end of the day, I have a very lofty dream that we can cast fear aside and see humanity in one another. That we will advocate for one another, knowing that there is a way for ALL to enjoy prosperity and freedom. We just have to do the hard work to find that path. Certainly we can achieve it, in a nation that boasts to be the world’s greatest.
