James Baldwin Merch

To celebrate 100 years of James Baldwin, I worked with Out of Print in collaboration with the Baldwin estate to produce this hand lettered design of one of his quotes.

The process for this artwork was inspired by my This is Not a Bill series, and incorporated traditional mediums. We experimented by rendering this phrase on different substrates and utitlized high-quality scans to reproduce the textures in the piece.
