The Great Indoors

Due to a global pandemic, we spent most of 2020 inside of our homes in order to “flatten the curve”—a goal repeated by experts and elected officials. As the days blended together, many were joking about getting dressed up to go to the living room or take out the trash.

But for me, I was learning to really find the wonder of my home. I cooked more than ever. I revisited the best moments of my life through old photographs, drawings, and journals. Once the worry and uncertainty subsided, I was able to recognize the greatness of the indoors, of home.
